| Some suppliers have increased their quotations of electrolytic manganese to around RMB15,300/mt recently, which is RMB500/mt higher than one week ago. In Hunan and Guangxi, where manganese carbonate powders supply tightens and transport troubled by flood, factories tend to stick on high prices, or they appear to be reluctant to sell. However, stainless steel market has not powerfully recovered and insiders worried that if market demand maintained slim, there would be little room for electrolytic manganese price to climb up further. |
