According to statistics, China’s export volume of electrolytic manganese (unwrought manganese) was 6,552 mt in June 2010, decreased by 29% from 9,240 mt in May 2010. It is the second lowest point in the first half of 2010. Export value was USD18,520,851, which also reduced obviously. As for manganese briquettes, whose export rebate was to be cancelled in July, its export hit record high in June 2010, reaching 13,684 mt.
Major users of Chinese electrolytic manganese were still Japan, 4,194 mt and Russia, 1,354 mt. However, exports to America, South Korea and Holland were all at low level. As for manganese briquettes, South Korea imported as many as 7,139 mt in June 2010, while Brazil, Holland, America and Japan all imported more than 900 mt. |
