Base metals witnessed mixed trend in an active trade at the non-ferrous metal market here today.
Copper sheet cuttings and copper armiture rose on good demand from heavy industries.
Brass sheet cutting and aluminium utensils also moved up on better buying support. Meanwhile, nickel, copper scrap heavy, zinc and lead eased on lower stockists offtake.
Copper sheets cutting spurted by Rs 11 per kilo to Rs 363 from yesterday's closing level of Rs 352 and copper armiture moved up by Rs 3 per kilo to Rs 363, as against Rs 360 previously.
Brass sheet cuttings and aluminium utensils scrap inched up by a rupee per kilo each to Rs 266 and Rs 89, respectively.
However, nickel fell by Rs 5 per kilo to Rs 1,070 from overnight's closing level of Rs 1,075.
Copper scrap heavy, zinc and lead all softened by a rupee per kilo each to Rs 369, Rs 114 and Rs 107, respectively. |
