| Domestic moly prices increased slightly on June 22th. Many traders have a small amount of products in hand, so they raised prices actively. Not many deals were done in the market. Molybdenum concentrate was quoted at RMB2,000-2,050/mtu, but transaction prices were below RMB2,000/mtu. Ferromolybdenum price keeps stable at RMB130,000-133,000/mt. As molybdenum market kept weak during the past month, downstream mills kept a low stock. Now they start to consume the stock. Therefore molybdenum demand would increase in near future. As a result, insiders predicted that molybdenum price might increase in the short term. |
