| Silicon Metal Price Increases Again |

| Recently, domestic silicon metal price up again, as orders increase largely. As we know, price for 553# has rose to RMB11,500-11,700/mt (USD1,691-1,720/mt), and price for 441# also increases to RMB12,500-12,700/mt (USD1,838-1,867/mt). It is reported that price for 553# has been lifted to be as high as RMB11,800/mt (USD1,735/mt) by some producers. Insiders attribute the rising silicon metal prices to the high production cost. |
